Life in Akwa Ibom

Living in Akwa Ibom has been a wonderful, one thing that stands out in this land is it peaceful nature.

Akwa Ibom is a land of promise, and I am happy to associate with it, even though I am was not born in this land, it has nurtured me.

My parents are from the East, from Anambra precisely,of which I am happy to associate with, my dad also maigrated to the North and started business there, of which my mum joined him, due to insecurity crises they left and settled in Akwa Ibom, particularly in Eket, popularly known as the oil city.

I attended both primary and secondary school in Akwa Ibom, before going to the East for my University education.

I can say with confidence that Akwa Ibom has a bright future, and with the mantra of "Akwa Ibom Dakadda", it is a clarion call for all to arise to greatness.

Celebration of 33years is no small feat, Akwa Ibom has birthed lot of bright stars and heroes, there are wonderful infrastructures built in the state. Akwa Ibom may soon become the land where investors will flock together. With the airport, a potential seaport in Oron, Stadium, E-library and others.

It is said the largest room is the room for improvement, Akwa Ibom still has a lot to do, particularly in providing decent jobs for the youths, it is painful that most indigene are motorcycle riders, and yet Akwa Ibom is an oil producing state. There is need to look critically at the welfare of the people.

I have learnt to speak the Ekid language and communicate with it, though not an expert, the beautiful delicacies like Afang soup, Editan soup and others, is indeed something to relish.

We pray for the land and its prosperity.

God bless Akwa Ibom.

God bless Nigeria.

Cheers!!!
