BETTER TOGETHER

There is power in unity, when a group of people unite to achieve a task there is always a great achievement. The bible draws our mind to this passage:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

New International Version

⁹ Two are better than one,
    because they have a good return for their labour:
¹⁰ If either of them falls down,
    one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
    and has no one to help them up.
¹¹ Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
    But how can one keep warm alone?
¹² Though one may be overpowered,
    two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Also there is a saying: “If you want to walk fast walk alone and if you want to move far move together” 

Unity is vital in anything you do; there is strength in coming together, when we learn to accommodate people’s weaknesses and leverage their strength we will achieve more. We need to see others as our brothers and sisters, the recent End SARS protests revealed to us the youths that we can come together and fight a common enemy which is bad governance in Nigeria, the youths from different tribes, the Igbo’s, Hausa’s and Yoruba’s came together to protest against police brutality , the Christians allowed the Muslims to pray when it was their for prayers and they all worked together to so see that it was a peaceful protests, people sharing meals together and everyone watching out for each other.

We can see that the vultures of our country benefit from the corruption, ethnic divisions and disorder in our society, that they could go to the extent of killing the innocent youths who were sitting peacefully with the Nigerian flags in their hands and singing the National anthem. May their gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen. These economy devourers preach unity hypocritically and go behind to create a system that breeds anarchy and hatred which feeds their selfish interests.

It is time for us to be wise and rise up against such harbingers of evil and destruction in our climes. We all have the same blood flowing through our veins no matter our tribe or race. Our conscience bleeds when we see our fellow humans like and no form of consolation or justice meted out to the defaulters.

We should all come together to build a strong and better society, we also need the advices from our older generations who are men of good will, we are no more going to be fooled again, we have made our mistakes and I called on all youths to shun vengeance, violence and destructions but to channel their energies to create a better society. We are ready for positive changes; we are ready for peace and progress. God bless Nigeria!
