RESPONSIBILITY

 

Responsibility is simply the "ability to respond".

When you can respond effectively to what matters, it shows your level of maturity.

We live in a world where everyone seems not to care about anything aside his own welfare, this epidemic is aptly described by Pope Francis as the "globalization of indifference". 

Really, we have no excuses to make, as Howard Wright rightly puts it, "Excuses are lies wrapped up in reasons".

It is time we see others people welfare as our responsibility, a simple smile to someone, listening attentively to their concerns can really make a lot of difference in their mental health.

Don't be hardened hearted that nothing moves you, we can be like Cain and pretend we don't where our brother(s) are when we are asked,we have to intentional about showing love to others.

The climate is changing, the environment is degrading,our atmosphere is getting polluted, our leaders are swindling our economy, and so on, should we sit in the couch and keep watching TV, eating pizzas or taking responsibility to make things work, advocating for better policies, educating the young ones and mentoring them for better leadership roles, writing and informing the populace to awaken morality and conscience? 

Well it is our choice to make,our actions today will speak volumes, and that is why is important we plant the good seeds of hope today.

We should stop wishing and start acting, enough of the criticisms and high expectations, let us start from where we are to build a better tomorrow.

Yes, together we can make a difference.
