Have you wondered why hotels offers you expensive bills ? It is simply because you are given hospitality.  Now imagine giving hospitality to stranger at no cost, it takes a lovely heart to do such. Don't expect such expensive offer from disgruntled fellows. Our world is in dire need of people to offer hospitality. We have to do this willingly to help others. I remember a late journey I took, it was a day before my matriculation, I wanted to attend it at all cost. I had travelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University ,Awka for an interview/screening process at Maritime Academy,Oron, after the process I had to travel back for my matriculation. At a certain point in the the journey,I could not continue,a  tricycle driver popularly called Keke napep offered to give me accommodation for the night. Recently I saw a post: "Banks are more interested in giving you loan, if you are wealthy, people will be more inclined to give you tasks if you have so many things doing, and a lady will be more interested in a guy if she sees other ladies are seeking his attention and vice versa, and it ended with Nature is more attracted to abundance",  all of us were given a gift or talent by God, and we have a duty to put it to use, do you remember the parable of the talent in the Bible, the man who had few talents did not yield interests and it was taken away from him and given to the man yielded more interests.

During my internship training in a teaching hospital,I was given the opportunity to speak to the health students on the topic: "Forgiveness, the best gift to the mind and soul." Forgiveness is indeed a gift given freely to us by God and as such we ought to do likewise to our neighbours.

It is crucial to state that our the way we spend our time relates with our life. If we spend time effectively we will be making our life great. Avoid time wasters, it is not easy especially in our social media age, there are lot of interesting things going on, discussions about trending events and the likes. However, we should not be distracted or carried away by them. Learn to be focused and be deliberate how you spend your time.

The motto of my alma mater read: "Perseverance breeds success" To achieve success in any endeavor you have to persevere against all odds. When I began writing a book to be published,one of them was so voluminous, and the other was not much. Funny enough, I began writing another book apart for those two in an attempt to publish it. I was faced with challenges, the book had to undergo lot of editing and correcting. Of course,funds were needed if you want to print a book, it did not take weeks or months to make it a reality, it took years! There are lot of talented people in life but few become outstanding because they kept improving themselves.

Did you know that someone can commit suicide because of abusive words, derogatory statements and mockery. That is how powerful our words are, we need to have a rethink before we utter our words. We need to evaluate our words to know if they are necessary to be spoken. Some words may be necessary, but the way it is communicated may be  wrong. We need to realize that humans are emotional, they can sense when there is hatred at the corner.

Have you seen a man who gets  angry a lot? Flee from him. Anger is one letter short of Danger. Don't give someone the right to make you angry. When you are angry you can make foolish statements and wrong decisions. You have to work hard  to make sure no one steals your joy and enthusiasm.

The tongue is very powerful, the holy book says it is a flame of fire. We have to watch what we say, words are like eggs, once shattered it is almost impossible to pick  up the broken pieces and bind them together. Many relationships have been broken by unguarded speech statements.

For any man who achieved great feats, it was made possible by someone or more who encouraged him or her to continue when the thoughts of giving up came. The fact is this, you have to have a companion who speaks words of hope to you. You have to read the Bible to inspire you and make you effective in any task you chose to embark on.

But note that the directions God gives us to follow are for our own good. 

  Dear friends, Hope you are fine? Well, I just want you to know that the period we  are now in our lives is a crucial moment. Someone said that the richest place is the grave  yard because in them you will find ideas, visions, goals and destiny that were never achieved.

"Abeg do quick", "do sharp sharp", are common phrases we hear in our parlance.  Patience is a virtue we all need in our society, our world today is driven by speed, that is why we 5G is still created, we h ear of fast food and the likes. However, in real relationships with people, we should not see them as machines. They make mistakes and are have flaws. We need to be  considerate when dealing with people less we soil our relationships.

Have you heard that from people who run business?  A wise man tries to increase his Assets and decrease liabilities.  He gets liabilities when the Assets yield good returns. Now let us talk:  Do you know that God does 'good business'. He has invested so much in Me and You. Every human you see on the streets has lot of potentials deposited in them like bank accounts.

The is a power in silence,when you talk foolishly you lose respect and dignity. Lot of great discoveries were made in a quiet and serene environment. That is why the best time to begin the day is  early in the morning where everywhere is quiet. You can commune with God with little or no distractions.

In respect to the health of the populace, the pharmacist plays a vital role in making sure that patients health is given utmost attention. Due to the present economic situation, people assume that spending money on drugs is a waste of resources.  Some will  say in igbo“ife siri ike"-meaning things are hard ;when the patient’s condition is worsening or deteriorating, they rush to the patent medicine store and ask for drugs to be mixed, with the hope of getting a quick relief and cutting cost. Imagine taking 4 different pain relievers for a waist pain,you might say:”It works for me and it is very cheap”.

During my internship as a pharmacist, I was posted to a community health center, I experienced my first case report of a young lady who was raped. Reports have it that she went on an errand, probably she was made unconscious while the perpetrators of the vicious act made their way. I felt for this young lady, because she could become a victim of HIV/AIDS, and possibly unwanted pregnancy.

To achieve success you have to learn to work with others. You have heard the saying: "If you want to go fast, walk alone,but if you want to go far,walk together. " We have to learn to harness people's strength and supplement their weakness. Everyone is good at something, Identity their gifts and maximize them to get good results. For a football team to win matches,the coach has to utilize effectively all the players by putting them at the right wing to give results.

The covid-19 pandemic is hitting hard on different economies of the world and also on the different businesses, it has led to lifestyle modifications, and as such quarantine of workers is mandated before they resume work with others. I began my quarantine yesterday, before I left I started the necessary preparations, I bought what I will need during my stay, I had in mind that I wanted to make the best   use of my stay. My family offered prayers and wished me well, mum also gave her advice.
